JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - As the holiday inch closer, the Missouri Department of Transportation wants to remind drivers that there is never a good reason to drink and drive.
Executive chair for the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety Jon Nelson told KXCV/KRNW that this time of year gives too many chances to drive under the influence.
A report from the coalition noted 51 deaths in Missouri traffic crashes between December 10-31 last year, 12 of which involved an impaired driver.
